It’s no secret that people love to jump on the latest trends and fads. And right now social media sites are the cool thing to be on, with Twitter being among the most popular of them all. So naturally, there are thousands of people asking the same question every day…”Is it truly possible to make money with twitter?” The answer to that question is, YES!

However, with that being said, if you are going to be successful using Twitter to earn money online, you need to be absolutely sure you are not one of the many wannabe internet marketers out there doing it all wrong without a clue. This post will help you to avoid the dark side of tweeting for cash.

The first thing you need to know is that if you are going to sign up for Twitter with the intentions of spamming like crazy, you might as well forget about it. You will get reported and your account will be deleted before you have a chance to get anywhere with it. And even if you do happen to slide under the radar without getting deleted, you still won’t make any money because nobody will read your spam posts.

The best strategy for becoming successful at Twitter is by actually building up a following and legitimately participating in the community. It is a social networking type of site so you need to be social. You should talk about yourself and what you are doing with your life and business, give useful tips, be creative, helpful, and entertaining. Share information about your niche that your followers actually want to read.

If you have your own blog then one great way to semi-automate your participation is to integrate your blogging efforts with your social media efforts. Make it so every time you post it gets tweeted on your profile. Or maybe you have written a free report covering something about your niche that you are an expert on? Why not give it away for free to your Twitter followers? When you share useful information you will find that your followers will grow just by word of mouth sharing of your tips.

Obviously a great way to help all of this along is to publish the link to your Twitter profile anywhere it is allowed. This would be in your blogs sidebar, the signature file of forums you participate in, other social media site profiles, and so on. And if you submit articles to directories, they often have an option where each time you get an article published it will be tweeted out to all of your followers.

In the end, what you want all of this to do is build up a strong reputation for yourself. Once that has happened, you will find that the trust and following you have gotten will turn into a lot of sales if you roll out your marketing promotions strategically. Always contribute much more than you pitch sales. That is vital!

If used correctly there’s little doubt that Twitter can be quite profitable. It can certainly be used as one tactic for earning money online.

There are more than enough blogs out there claiming to teach you how to make money but a large percentage of them don’t live up to that claim. Most of them post crap that doesn’t really teach anything. However, there are a few gems on the internet who really will teach you how to make money if you listen to what they say.

Below I have listed ten make money online blogs that I am subscribed to via my Google RSS feed reader. The only reason I stay subscribed to them is because they cut through all the crap and actually give useful information that teaches their readers how to earn money online, and sometimes even offline.

So, here’s the top 10 make money online blogs that I recommend, in no particular order:

1) Okay so I might have cheated a little bit by adding this make money online blog to the list because I am a co-owner of it. But we do offer a lot of great advice there so it deserves to be on the list. Not to mention, it’s one of the top ranked make money blogs on the internet so that has to count for something. Hope to see you there!

2) Grizzly Brears is a master at making money on the internet and he teaches others how to do it at his make money for beginners blog. I’ve learned a LOT from this blog and consider Griz to be one of my main mentors as well as a friend.

3) Court Tuttle is another person I have learned a great deal from about how to make money online and I consider him to be another one of my mentors. He has a very popular internet marketing blog and also co-owns the keyword academy with Mark Butler. They also have a coaching program that I highly recommend.

4) If you want to learn how to make money online with SEO then Ben is definitely someone to follow. He doesn’t post often but when he does writes very long posts filled with a ton of incredibly useful information. You’ll learn a lot from this blog and if you do what he says you will earn money online.

5) Allyn Hane truly is the “master of his own domain” at blogger illustrated. He has a personality that was born for being a video blogger and he knows his stuff. You’ll learn a lot of tips from his blog that will help you make money online and you’ll be entertained at the same time.

6) Jason Pereira is “The University Kid” who also teaches how to make money at home on his online business blog. He’s an entrepreneur who started his blog while he was still in school. Now he is a full time internet marketer who gives very useful money making information on his blog.

7) If you want to earn online cash your go to man is Frank Carr. His blog is full of great advice that will help you learn how to make money online. He’s also the creator of some products that are very helpful for internet marketers to save time and earn money.

8) Another person who teaches how to make money the honest way is Terry Didcott. He’s an internet marketing expert who also happens to be a great guy and one of my closest online business friends. He has no problem telling it like it is and he knows what he is talking about.

9) I bet you never thought a wookie named Chewie could teach you how to make money online, or did ya? Ok so, there is a real person behind the “whatawookie” blog but I am not going to reveal his true identity. Sorry to disappoint you if you really thought it was a wookie. Either way there’s still a lot of great online money making information on this blog.

10) Last but not least, we certainly can’t forget about the controversial blogger, Lis Sowerbutts, who holds nothing back as she teaches you how to earn passive income online. There’s no doubt that you will find something worth reading at this blog as Lis likes to stir things up while she teaches how to earn money online.

Some of the internet marketers who run the above blogs are well known and some are not, but none of them are what people typically call “A-List” bloggers. And there’s a good reason for that… Most of the time those A-list bloggers don’t post content on their blogs that is actually useful for learning how to make money! Yes, every once in a while they come out with a golden nugget of information, but most of the time they just post fluff and hype that doesn’t really teach you anything, or re-hashed stuff that has been posted a thousand times before on various blogs. That’s not the case with the blogs listed above. Their posts are very useful. No, not every single one of their posts are amazing, but in general they very much are.

If you want to learn how to make money — and I assume you do if you are reading this right now — then you need to read the blogs listed above on a regular basis. And actually take action on what you learn. You can’t earn money just by reading blogs; you have to put the information into action. Well, they should keep you busy for a while so I will let you go for now.

Oh and don’t forget to also come back to this blog. It’s a great resource for you to learn how to make money. Tell your buddies about it too!

——————————————————–

I had a few thoughts about new blogs I would add to the list here. I know that I spend too much time readings MMO blogs if anything, but hey, sometimes it’s as much about having fun as making money.

1) Paul’s Earn Money online blog is a new blog that is just starting up and showing some real potential. A lot of time these new blogs can be great to follow for newer people to the game because they go back and explain everything from the most basic concepts.

There are websites that would pay you to write for them. One of the website is eHow. eHow doesn’t really pay to write for them, they are like a revenue paying site i.e. if they make money from your article, they would give you part of the money. I don’t know how much percentage they would give to you from the revenue. I chose eHow because it is easy to wrote articles over there. eHow is not really strict, they want you to follow their guidelines. Their guidelines are what you should already know if you know how to produce quality content. eHow editors wants the site to have quality content.

Any article you publish on ehow goes live as soon as you hit the publish button. If the article you publish is low quality, the editors would delete it later. I once heard that the editors delete articles that don’t generate any revenue. I think because they believe that the article has low quality.

As of today, I have made $44.82 from ehow. This is from 2 months from my article being live on ehow. I have published 11 articles on ehow. Some articles have made money, while some haven’t made a penny yet. I am thinking ehow editors might soon remove those articles.

If you are thinking about you can write on ehow, let me tell you that you can write about anything. You are required to write about how to do things. You know how to do somethings, then write about it. Since you have the practical knowledge already, you just have transfer the knowledge into writing which I guess would not take you a lot of time. It is also good to insert a picture into your article.

Looking at the homepage of ehow, I guess that they put articles that are demand. That is during the summer period, ehow would like to put articles that are related to summer on their homepages such as gardening, tanning, beach and the rest. I guess that writing this type of articles would make you more money because they are in demand.

I have read about people that make about $200  per month with ehow. The author of the book, how to write for ehow, makes more than $1000 per month from ehow. He has more than 200 articles on ehow. If you want to make money, you should be ready to write a lot of articles. 11 articles would take you no where.

What is Google Adsense and How do You Make Money With it?

Adsense is an advertisment program ran by Google. To make money from adsense, you have to put a javascript code from your adsense account into your blog or site. The code would generate an ad on the section of your blog you put it i.e. if you put the code in your header, it would generate an ad at your header. If someone clicks on the ad, Google would give you some money.

Making money with Google Adsense seems easy right? You just get a blog, slap adsense on the blog, then you start making money when someone clicks your ad. Also, if you read my post on make money posting links on Google, the site also make it look easy. But the problem with this is where will you get someone to click your ad. Google would ban you if you click your ad. There are many people that Google have banned from their first day on being accepted into the adsense program because they were clicking their ad. Most of them were just experimenting. They wanted to know if their ad is working, if someone clicks on it. They clicked on their ad multiple times and they got that dreaded email from Google that their account have been banned. Also don’t tell people to click on your adsense’s ad.

To get people to visit your site and become potential ads clickers, you have to either be social active or have good search engine ranking. Being social active means that you would drive people (traffic) to your blog by commenting on other people’s blog, joining forums, joining social media sites such as digg, reddit, delicious, twitter etc. To have a good search engine ranking, you should have optimize your blog either off site and on site. This is called SEOing your site for adsense.

You can do both ways to get traffic to your site if you can. But if you don’t have time, you should try to improve your rank on search engines because those are the ones that click on ads because they want something such as looking for the answer for a question or looking for how to get something. Social traffic don’t click on ads. They are just looking for you to return to their site and nothing else. If you do a good job blending your adsense’s ad, your might get some clicks from social traffic.

The amount you can make on adsense depends on your keywords. Some keywords pay better than others. For instance, if your niche is credit, the you can make about $8 for one click for the keyword credit report. If your niche is make money online, you can make about $3 with the keyword, ways to make money online. This is what you can make if you site is very well targeted for that niche. Of course, you can earn less than that. You can get clicks that would give you $0.01.

I don’t know how true is this, but I heard Google now requires new applicants to have a site that is 6 months old with content before you can get accepted into their adsense program and make money with google.

I was checking my email today when I saw a text ad about how to make money posting links on Google. I was curious so I clicked on the ad to see what the site has to offer. The site post title was “How I Started Making $6,700 a Month by Working from Home Online.” That amount is impressive, if it was true.

In the post, the owner of the site wrote about those stories that the person when from a 9-5 job to start making money online from their home. He was laid off from his job, and he decided to search for how to make money online. He found two opportunities and now he is making between $5,000 and $8,000 a month by working at home from Google. What attracted me was a picture of his old and new cars.

He went from an wrecked old car to a new Porsche. This is an improvement in life if his story is true. He also showed an adsense check of about $6,000 that Google sent to him. I am an internet marketer and I don’t know how this works i.e. you would post links on Google and they send a check to you.

To post links on Google, you need to use adwords. You would for any click on your ads on Google. Google then splits the amount your pay per click between themselves and the people displaying your ads. Google pays those people displaying their ads through adsense. This means there is a discrepancy with the ads title. The ad should have said make money posting links for Google — and not ON Google.

After 1 week, I saw another ad of a student that makes money posting links on Google. Both programs are the same. The program that both ads are promoting are Google Home Business Kit and Google Marketing Kit. The Home business kit is free to try, but you would have to pay for $1.99 S & H. The Marketing Kit is also free to try, but cost $3 for S & H. I think the free period is for one month, after one month you would be charged a certain amount

If you want to make money with Google, you need to have your own site or blog. After you have created one, then you apply to Google Adsense to get a publisher id. After you have been approved, you can put those links on your blog. If somebody click on the ad, you would be paid a certain amount of money. Depending on your preference, you can choose to receive your commission to be deposited in your bank or you can choose to receive an check.

Don’t let the ads that say “make money posting links on Google” deceive you. It’s not as easy as most of them make it seem nor would you be doing exactly what most of them try to make you think you would be doing in order to earn money from Google.
